HomeAgain Pet Recovery System has a variety of tools available to help you when your pet goes missing. One phone call can help you on your way to reuniting with your best friend. Reporting your pet missing with the HomeAgain network gets the ball rolling on the road to recovery. An immediate alert is issued to local shelters, area veterinary clinics, shelters and PetRescuers. You will be provided with a list of local shelters so you can start looking for your pet. The HomeAgain website allows you to upload a photo of your pet to create a lost pet poster that you can distribute in your area. A photo of your pet will also be emailed to local vets and PetRescuers in the area who will be on the lookout for your pet.

Annual HomeAgain Membership also comes with a variety of valuable extras:

24/7 Emergency Medical Care- If your vets office is closed or unavailable, call the HomeAgain Emergency Medical Care Phone Number (1-888-466-3242).  You will then be connected to a licensed veterinarian who works with the ASPCA allowing for best possible management of your pet's case.  You will be advised of what specific actions to take, and if necessary, directed to your veterinarians preferred emergency clinic.

Lost Pet Medical Insurance-

Covers up to $3000, less a $50 deductible, for medical bills for any injuries your dog or cat suffers while lost including:

-Medications Prescribed by a veterinarian

-Diagnostic procedures necessary to treat injuries suffered while lost

-Dental services

-Overnight hospital stays

Pet owner must submit proof of lost pet incident for reimbursement to apply

Once enrolled in HomeAgain, you must call PetFirst to activate. Coverage is not automatic.

Travel Assistance for lost pets-

-HomeAgain will pay to fly a found pet home to be reunited with their family.

-Pet must be found 500 miles or more from their home

-Pet must be an active member of HomeAgain

-There is a $500 limit on travel related expenses and applies to dogs and cats only

Initial registration with HomeAgain when your pet is implanted with the chip is $16.99 and provides you with all of the above benefits for the first year. You will have the option to renew these benefits for a yearly fee of $16.99, or if not, your pet will remain in the HomeAgain national database for the lifetime of your pet. No additional fees will apply.
